Some of the authors of these stories are already in Europe, others will arrive soon, while others are waiting to be able to land in the "West".
The "West" needs to observe the world from perspectives other than its own, and to learn to listen, as these young people have things to say and information to give. The topics covered are extremely diverse, resulting from the interests and skills of the authors; a unique focus, their gaze on the world, whether it is the from where they come from or their perspective in trying to find space and opportunities. It is therefore also a different perception of us, "Westerners", and can only help us.
The workshop is structured as a theoretical and practical course of self-narration and story-telling techniques, the output being this dedicated and collective blog in which each participant/author, will be able to develop and publish their own story with accompaniment and suggestions of the Human Lines team.
This is not a blog on migration (even if the participants individually choose to speak of that theme): the focus is on any subject or angle that helps to convey perspectives, experiences and visions of the protagonists, through which identities and specificities emerge, usually hidden behind the label "migrant" - as if the identity and essence of a person coincide or even are exhausted in having lived the migratory experience.
