Daily or weekly allowance covering small daily expenses that is given directly to refugees and asylum seekers hosted in reception facilities. This allowance is provided both during the application waiting period and for the duration of the beneficiaries’ one-year integration period after he or she receives international protection. In the protocol of the Humanitarian Corridors, the amount of this daily allowance is left to the discretion of the diocesan Caritas unit.
