The ability to make a decision to change
There is a blessing I want the people who have it to pay attention to it because it is more important
than they can imagine
But they don't know how important it is
It is the ability to make a decision to change.
I mean when you have the power to take a decision to change without being forced to
not being forced to start everything from zero
Finding a new home, new friends, a new job and even a new environment in another country
Terrifying right? We humans prefer to stay in the comfort zone and familiarity to which we are accustomed
So when we are forced to abandon all that is familiar to us, it's something so difficult even if we know that it's better for us.
5 homes, 2 cities, 6 schools
Thousands of new faces and thousands of new situations to adapt toin 9 years
9 years including your childhood and adulthood.
But instead of spending them focusing on building yourself and making your goals
You spend them adapting to everything that is new which changes every once in a while
Loneliness, lack of sense of belonging, inability to adapt, inability to settle
And the inability to think about the future
This is what I've been struggling with for the past 9 years
My past 9 years in Jordan
ولكن لا يعلمون مقدار اهميتها
و هي القدرة على اتخاذ قرار التغيير
ان يكون قرارك انت دون ان تكون مجبرا عليه
ان لا تكون مجبرا على ان تبدأ كل شيء من الصفر
ان تجد منزل جديد , اصدقاء جدد , عمل جديد وحتى بيئة جديدة في بلد اخر
مرعب صحيح؟ نحن البشر نفضل البقاء في منطقة الراحة و الالفة التي اعتدنا عليها
لذلك حين نتطر للتخلي عن كل ما هو مألوف لنا يكون شيء صعب الحدوث بقدر ما يمكن ان يكون حدوثه افضل لنا
5 منازل ,مدينتين , 6 مدارس
الاف الوجوه الجديدة و الاف الاوضاع الجديدة للتكيف معها
خلال 9 سنوات
9 سنوات تضمن فترة طفولتك ومراهقتك
ولكن بدل ان تقضيهم في التركيز على تكوين نفسك وبلوغك
تقضيهم في التكيف على كل ما هو جديد, وانا اعني التجديد كل فترة فيهم وليس مرة واحدة
الوحدة , عدم الشعور بلانتماء , عدم القدرة على التكيف , عدم القدرة على الاستقرار
و ايضا عدم القدرة على التفكير بالمستقبل
هذا ما كنت اعاني منه خلال ال9 سنوات الماضية

C'è una benedizione, voglio che le persone che ce l'hanno vi prestino attenzione perché è più importante di quanto possano immaginare
Ma non sanno quanto sia importante
È la possibilità di decidere per cambiare
Voglio dire quando hai il potere di prendere una decisione per cambiare senza essere costretto a farlo
Non essere costretti a ricominciare tutto da zero
Trovare una nuova casa, nuovi amici, un nuovo lavoro e persino un nuovo ambiente in un altro paese
Terrificante vero? Noi umani preferiamo rimanere nella zona di comfort e familiarità a cui siamo abituati
Quindi quando siamo costretti ad abbandonare tutto ciò che ci è familiare è qualcosa di così difficile anche se sappiamo che è meglio per noi
6 case, 2 città, 5 scuole
Migliaia di volti nuovi e migliaia di nuove situazioni a cui adattarsi,
in 9 anni,
9 anni che includono infanzia ed età adulta
Ma invece di dedicarli alla costruzione di te stesso e sul raggiungimento dei tuoi obiettivi
Li spendi adattandoti a tutto ciò che è nuovo e che si rinnova di tanto in tanto
Solitudine, mancanza di senso di appartenenza, incapacità di adattamento, incapacità di stabilirsi
E l'incapacità di pensare al futuro
Questo è ciò con cui ho lottato negli ultimi 9 anni
I miei ultimi 9 anni in Giordania
