WHY ENCOUNTERS?

In this new section we want to open up a perspective on other places and paths, giving students and faculty the opportunity to get involved with Human Line.

The first published projects will be taken from the Refugee Policy lab course, which I held in 2020.

This course, during which the students were able to 'virtually' meet refugees, social workers and volunteers from the area near the University of Notre Dame.

It was an opportunity for dialogue and mutual knowledge.

The meetings were recorded, and in this section, we provide you with some excerpts of the interviews recorded by the students.

The aim, in addition to being pedagogical / educational for students, is to open up a space in our portal dedicated to other territories, starting with the American one, in a perspective of comparison and analysis with respect to the European reality in terms of reception, accompaniment, and integration.
