THE CORRIDORS ARE STARTEDThe 70 refugees - 8 families with 13 minors and 40 individuals, mostly young people under 25 - were welcomed in Fiumicino by volunteers and some family members, long-time residents of our country, in some cases already Italian citizens. They will be hosted in different cities (Rome, Bologna, Belluno, Parma, Brisighella, Cologno Monzese, Padua, Rieti, Ancona, Taranto). Unfortunately, as has previously occurred, it will certainly not be possible for us to follow and keep track of all these new beginnings. However, we will do everything possible to gain a core understanding of them by capturing some new stories and also invite new self-narratives to enrich the experience of the Human Factor storytelling lab.
In fact, soon we will be in Asti to get to know an Iraqi family. The family fled Mosul and arrived in Italy after 7 years in Jordan. |
