HUMAN FACTOR | STORY LAB 3

It has been three months since the HumanFactor lab started, and our expectations of the number of stories published were certainly higher than the material produced.
As has been pointed out several times, we have understood that it is not at all easy to talk about oneself, especially for those who have complicated and emotionally heavy life experiences. Even if we didn't ask to them to tell about their past, anyway you can't ignore the history from which you come.
Surely it is during the meetings that the young women and men manage to express what they feel and what they would like to say, but when they find themselves alone in front of their mobile phones, turning intentions into actions is much more complex. An example of this is Joao: he singing, speaking and reciting his poems only when we are gathered together.
Slowly, we are trying to break down these walls, with small tasks and exercises, with private "face-to-face" interviews.
In this last video Bouba stands out, not because he is in any way better than the others, but he is an example of how change can happen. His first stories were fragments of photos with text, in small print, almost illegible, during the meetings he spoke very little, but later he never stopped and at the last meeting he spoke almost the entire time, like a bursting river and his journey can be followed through the stories he published.
This will happen for all of us, and we hope this especially for girls, who to tear down many more walls.
The soil is fertile and we are sure that sooner or later they will emerge...steps by step
